Westgate Promenade
A 400-metre riverfront promenade converting a residual industrial edge into the precinct’s front address. Wide steps double as seating, lighting doubles as wayfinding, and a rhythm of shelters gives the walk a destination roughly every eighty metres.
Delivered in three stages without closing the water’s edge, and handed over with a maintenance schedule the council’s own team co-authored.
