Maribyrnong Crossing
A pedestrian and cycle crossing stitching two precincts together across the river: a sixty-metre structure whose landings are destinations in their own right — benches, shade and a long view up the reach.
The deck is deliberately generous at 4.2 metres, wide enough for strangers to pass without negotiation, and the lighting scheme was resolved with the rowing clubs who use the water before dawn.
